Happy Garden in Augusta

I have been there twice. First time for the black pepper chicken with rice combo. The chicken was well flavored but the rice was lacking. Second time, I got the general tsos combo with shrimp fried rice and also an additional order of singapore rice noodles. The general tso and noodles were very good but once again the rice was not so good. Not sure, just did not like the rice that much. Still, the other food was well flavored and fresh and quite good.

Found metal shavings in my rice. Took food back and was treated like it was my fought by the lady at counter. I could have got really sick or died from infection if I had eaten that metal shavings in my rice I got from this place.

I was parked beside Happy Garden putting air in a slow leaking tire. A very nice young lady. Possibly owner?? Was unloading supplies for restaurant. She asked uf there was anything she could do ti help. I said i was ok. I thought how Nice tgat was! I decided to eat there today.. Glad i did!! Super service, good value, DELICIOUS FOOD!! Ill definitely be back. See how being nice is always the way to go..Oh. Forgot to say the best flavored and prepared LEMON PEPPER wings ive had And ive had many around Augusta

Stellar service and the food is par with the kitchen, fast food Chinese. But be not mistaken by appearance. The food is of good proportion and does taste good. It just lacks appearance of preparation.

After reading all of the great reviews on here, I decided to try this restaurant with my family and I'm glad I made that decision. The restaurant was spotless, the service was quick and the order was both 100% correct and delicious. We will definitely return, especially for the wings and egg rolls.

I have been a longtime patron of this restaurant since they first opened their doors. The staff are always professional and courteous. The inside and outside areas are always clean and sanitary. The food is always fresh, hot and tasty. It had been awhile since visiting, but the ambiance is still exceptional.

Delicious crab Rangoon, scrumptious egg rolls, everything thing we had to eat was outstanding. Small restaurant with excellent staff and it was so clean! We plan eating here more often. We come to the cancer center at Augusta University for my treatments and it is nearby, and I love that! Thank you to the wonderful young people working there that made visit so pleasant.

By far my favorite Chinese place in town. Really in any town I've lived in. They're always very helpful and kind, making sure we've got a good fresh meal after a long day. I can't think of any negative thing about this place. I have heard people complain about wait times, and to that I say stop. Don't assume it's a fast food place, as you'll usually get your food between 10-20 minutes depending on how many take-out orders they've got, and everything is made fresh.

Great Experience - I have someone in the hospital and walked to this Chinese restaurant. It's about 12 minutes walk and it's easy to find. I've gotten my food and it's great (Shrimp with Lobster Sauce ). The place is very clean, the guys behind the counter are very friendly, they speak English and can understand with no problem, the price is reasonable for the amount of food. I'm glad I found this place and I highly recommend it.

I think it's a family business, but either way I'm treated like family whenever I visit. The restaurant is virtually spotless and the vegetable fried rice is the best I've had ever. I'm always greeted with a smile and the staff has come to know and address me by name. Makes me feel great. I love this place!!

Today was my 1st time eating at Happy Garden and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was delicious, the staff was nice and the restaurant was very clean. I definitely recommend it.

Fantastic selection of food and very kind servers. Their crab rangoons are delicious and sweet. The service is very quick and the portions are very reasonably priced. For a small shop, it is a fantastic dinner option.

This was a go to lunch place and delivery place when it was located off 15th Street in what was the Kroger Shopping complex. (Now MCG/Augusta Health employee parking).The people where always polite and customer friendly. Food was always fresh and delicious even on the lunch buffet. The bathroom and store was clean at each visit when picking up for others and coworkers in prior years. Management appeared to be professional and concerned on running a good business. Can only assume that the business would maintain the same exceptional quality after moving to new location. The new location is just off Walton Way between Waffle House and Family Dollar. It sits just off back road seen from Walton Way. It is beside the training center used for wood and furniture restoration. It is just above and adjacent to S&S Cafeteria and across from A Town Wings. It is easily seen and accessible to the public including those with disabilities as noted upon further inspection of the new location.

I don't know where to start about how amazing and awesome everything is about Happy Garden. The staff they are wonderful, warm, respectful, courteous, and extremely caring for their customers. The food selections are by far the best in this area of Augusta Georgia. My favorite will always be the curry shrimp delicious. If you want an amazing atmosphere wonderful customer service and delicious food go to Happy Garden.

Cute gluten- free restaurant. Food is affordable, delicious and healthy! The owners are so kind and actually greeted my friend by name because she is a regular. The Red Chili Shakshuka was delicious. So hearty, and surprisingly spicy! Had a great kick. The fried egg on top was cooked perfectly. My friend had the orange marmalade Cream cheese French toast.

The restaurant is clean, the food is served hot, the service is with a smile, and they give you an adequate amount of food..... but the taste is just okay. I ordered the sesame chicken combo with ham fried rice , no peas or carrots and I added egg to my rice. It also came with a pork egg roll. Personally, I'm still looking for that Asian restaurant that hits on all cylinders! I would eat here again but next time I would probably order a different dish.

Came here from Spokane, WA and the food was pretty good. We dine in and the service was not that good. If you dine-in they give you take out boxes to eat out of which I didn't like and they do not come by and check on you to see if you need anything else. Service is something they need to work on but the food is good.

I am genuinely impressed with this place. The people were friendly but most importantly, the food was AMAZING. I don’t consider myself easily impressed when it comes to Chinese food but they have it right. And the egg rolls are EVERYTHING 🙌🏾

We come here from time to time for dinner. They make excellent and flavorful Chinese food. The prices are very reasonable, and the small size is an excellent and filling amount of food for one person. We've had several things here, and they have the typical Chinese faire you come to expect from places like there but they also have other things like Pad Thai and Singapore noodles that you don't normally find at Chinese restaurants. The food is always good, but best eaten when fresh and the restaurant itself is kept very clean. There aren't usually too many people in the place since most folks order take out, so if you're going to eat in you'll find that you'll typically be able to get your food quickly.

Love the fresh hot Chinese food. No old stale food but fresh and hot. The vegetable lo mein and honey chicken is good. Great service. The house fried rice is delicious and enough for 2 ppl. The lemon pepper were ok but too salty.

Although not easily visible from the Walton Way. This is a hidden gem. The service and food quality is always good. The food is never over seasoned. Prices are fair. The restaurant is very clean and well maintained. The employees are always very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Surprising food was good. There are not too many good chinese eatery in Augusta Area, but this place was decent. What I mean by that is not too greasy considering they Cook in wok with oil. You can tell by the dullness on the food vs. Shiny look-where other places drench your food with alots of oil. Plus, the container is left without any oil residue. I Will definitly go back there to eat there again. Only downside of IT, is that there is no buffet here.

I love this place already!!! I think they know me now. They kinda know what I will order but I switch it up since they are fairly new. I like to try out different dishes and see if I like them!!! The guy and girl that works the front counter go beyond the call of duty. While dining here today they brought everything to me, even refills and to go bags, which I always ask for. I'm kind of a creature of habit when it comes to food and I think they have picked that up already. I love being waited on hand and foot!!! Any place that does this gets 5 stars easily!!!!

Ok this is still my favorite! After living in Augusta over 30 years this is worth me driving 20 minutes away to order their food.

Of note here (this is not a food review) it about location. I was meeting a friend here.....its very hard to find only because its well backed off the main road. The store front is white and the name is well painted on it, but its at the back of the Family Dollar parking lot and removed across a tiny street. Add extra time the first time you go looking for it. .....and lunch was nice.
